I had posted photos of Yosemite National Park and its waterfalls here and here. The arrival of spring starts the rise in temperature and melting of the ice caps. These melting ice caps contribute to the aggressive waterfalls all across Yosemite Valley. In the end, all waterfalls join the Merced River causing it to swell and gush furiously. I took this photo last month at the base of Merced River. It was a very risky shot trying to get to middle of the river on protruding rocks, but worth it.
